Within the framework of the project, children get to know Komitas, Armenian culture through Komitas and ourselves through Armenian culture...We sing Komitas, his choruses, learn Komitas poems. The project also included visits to the Komitas Museum-Institute and Komitas City Pantheon. The children of the "Singing Komitas" summer school participated in a linocut workshop, made clay sculptures in the motives of Komitas songs, and, of course, learned Komitas songs. "Singing Komitas..." choir was led by musicologist, artistic director of ARAR choir and conductor Gor Melkumyan. At the end of the program, the students gave a concluding exhibition-concert, and their works were displayed in the Nikoghosyan exhibition hall next to the works of the masters of the 20th century. Perhaps, there is nothing more exciting than the sound of a child singing, when you see how beautiful the purest and most transparent vulnerability can be.․․
